I am a clinical psychotherapist working with adults, adolescents, couples, and families in the Bay Area.
Psychotherapy Services
Adults
Individual psychoanalytic therapy focuses on understanding how past experiences, unconscious processes, and relationship patterns influence present thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Through exploration of a person's history, including childhood development, I support adults in identifying underlying conflicts that may be contributing to current challenges. I work with a careful attunement to client sensitivity and resistance in order to build trust in the therapeutic relationship. My hope is to help clients increase self-awareness, resolve issues, and evolve in service of meaningful change.
Adolescents
Adolescence is a time of significant growth and exploration but it can also bring conflict and emotional turmoil. Teens face new social and academic pressures while exploring their independence and identity. Many struggle to regulate their emotions, express themselves, and find a sense of belonging. Therapy provides an opportunity for them to process their experiences, address challenges, and develop different ways of thinking. Through individual sessions and parent consultations, I support adolescents in building self-awareness and emotional stability.
Couples & Families
Couples seek therapy for many reasons—communication breakdowns, unresolved conflicts, mistrust, or feeling unheard and disconnected. My approach is relational and supportive, helping partners move from defensiveness and misunderstanding to deeper connection and mutual growth. In sessions, we will clarify emotions, uncover relational patterns, and increase empathy. This most often leads to healthier communication, deeper trust, and greater intimacy.
Family therapy is an extremely useful process that helps families improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships by addressing underlying patterns and dynamics. I work with families collaboratively to better understand the family dynamics and create different ways to solve challenges and support one another.
About
I am a licensed therapist who works with individuals, adolescents, couples, and families to navigate challenges and improve their experience of life. My approach is strengths-based and collaborative, combining insight-oriented depth work with practical therapeutic tools. I take an intuitive, thoughtful, and direct approach to therapy, tailoring my work to each client and making room for both sincerity and levity. I am passionate about creating meaningful change, both individually and socially.
I support clients with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, self-worth, family conflict, and relationship challenges. My experience working with individuals and families experiencing severe mental illness and various risk factors has given me the ability to support people from diverse backgrounds.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in the entertainment industry with high-level performers and co-founded a social justice nonprofit. These experiences deepened my interest in performance psychology and led to my specialization in sports and performance therapy, which I practice within a sports psychology group. In addition, I have training in trauma-informed treatment, crisis management, and substance use disorder. I am currently specializing in psychoanalytic psychotherapy which is what I am primarily offering within my practice.
